Running Kiddos is built for the full PE workflow: attendance, running laps, pushups, sit-ups, planks, jump rope, participation, stations, and custom activities that are unique to each school.

Instead of treating everything like a run or a spreadsheet row, Running Kiddos gives teachers a cleaner way to plan a class session, choose activities, save student records, and review progress later.

Activity Records, Not Spreadsheet Cells

Your school can keep default activities like Running Laps, Pushups, Sit-ups, Plank, Jump Rope, and Daily Participation, then add custom activities when you need them.

The activity name is the identifier teachers see. The unit tells Running Kiddos how to display and report the result. For Running Laps, you can also set distance per lap so reports show both the lap count and calculated miles.

A Session Workflow That Matches Class

Teachers now work through a simple session flow:

1. Plan or open today's class session.
2. Take attendance.
3. Add the activities students will complete.
4. Save records for each student.
5. Complete the session when it is done.

Completed sessions become review-only. If a teacher needs to fix something, they reopen the session, make the change, and complete it again. That keeps the meaning of "completed" clear.

Reports Are Built Around Date, Class, and Activity

Reports use consistent filters: date range, class, and activity. Teachers can review the overall picture, compare classes, open student progress, or drill into a specific activity. Running Laps shows distance details; other activities show the unit that makes sense for that activity.

Parent Sharing and AI Still Build on the Same Data

Because each record is tied to a student, class, activity, and date, the same data can power parent progress links, certificates, and AI summaries. A parent can see meaningful progress without logging in. A teacher can ask AI about activity records, attendance, or student trends instead of building a spreadsheet.
