Share Student Progress with Parents — One Link, No Login

June 2026 · 3 min read

The number one question parents ask PE teachers: "How is my kid doing?"

Running Kiddos makes that answer easier to share. Instead of pulling up a spreadsheet or writing a vague report card comment, teachers can share a parent-friendly progress link for one student.

How It Works

1Open any student's profile in the Running Kiddos web app

2Click "Share with Parent" — a unique link is generated and copied to your clipboard

3Send the link however you normally communicate with parents — email, text, ClassDojo, Remind, or paste it into a report card comment

That's it. The parent taps the link on their phone, and they see their child's PE progress — instantly, with no download, no login, no account.

What Parents Don't See

Privacy matters. The shared link shows only that one student's data. Parents cannot see:

Teacher Controls

You're in control. Each student gets a unique link that only you can generate. If a student's sharing needs change, teachers can manage sharing through the student profile.

Links are generated per student, not per class. You decide which students get shared links and when.

When to Use It

Why It Helps

Parents see specific records instead of a generic comment. Teachers spend less time translating activity data into one-off emails. Students get a clearer picture of what they have done in PE.

The page includes a small "Powered by Running Kiddos" footer, but the focus stays on the student's progress.

No Extra Cost

Parent progress sharing is included with Running Kiddos. No per-student sharing fee. You're already tracking the data; sharing it is part of the workflow.
